A while back, I started getting emails from Amazon Local. It’s kinda like Groupon, to where you can get deep discounts for local places. Check it out!
Great local deals that save you up to 75% on restaurants, spas, entertainment, and more.
Here’s how it works
- Sign up for AmazonLocal here.
- You’ll get local deals delivered to your inbox.
- When you see something you’d like, click on buy.
- You will be redirected to log in to Amazon. Afterall, it IS AmazonLocal.
- Pay with your credit card already associated with your Amazon Account.
- Print your voucher.
- Present your voucher at the business at check out!
Andy and I have been using deal sites like these for a couple of years, now and it’s a great way to save money for our large family.
My only concern is that most of the deals seem to be sold by LivingSocial, and they have been known to cheat affiliates (like myself) out of commission by omission of specific terms (more on that subject, here). I hope that Amazon is getting their money’s worth from them!
