The new year is upon us, and one of the biggest traditions in the world is to set a New Year’s Resolution for yourself.  Whether it’s weight loss, going back to school, getting organized, most resolutions involve some sort of self betterment.  Ivy Bridge College is dedicated to helping moms keep their resolve to get a higher education starting this year.

When Kylie was only about five months old, I decided to go back to college and get a degree.  I had a few online classes, but most of them were on location at the technical school I attended.  Because neither of my parents attended college, it was awesome to graduate Phi Theta Kappa with an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Digital Media Design.

When Braxton was about six months old, I decided that I wanted to go back to college and add to that degree, however after one semester of straight online classes, we relocated and I wasn’t able to afford another semester, and because I was working full time, my schedule would not allow me to enroll in another semester.

Now, we’ve added two more kiddos, and I’ve thought about going back to college to gain more knowledge about the SEO, social media, and networking side of the internet to round out my degree.

One of the major pluses to Ive Bridge College is that because about 50% of their students are mothers, they have flexible scheduling which allows mothers to continue to work, or stay at home with their kids while they work their way toward an accredited degree.
