We’ve had satellite TV for less than a week, and let’s just say…. holy overload, batman!

It’s been so great, while dealing with sick kiddos, to sit in front of the TV and be able to watch just about anything we want, after not having ANY TV (except for Netflix and Hulu) for seven months.  Count them. SEVEN months.  Not even local channels.  Ok, I take that back, we got about 20 Spanish channels really clear.. and TBN… however, I don’t speak Spanish!  At all!

Of course, we’ve kept up with our shows as best we couple with Netflix and Hulu, but it’s just not the same.  We’ve missed baseball and football!

Here are so of the faves that Kylie and I have been watching this week while she’s been home.

Duck Dynasty – Apparently, I never knew what I was missing, Jack.  I think I got Andy hooked on this, last night, too!  I think we’re going to love this show, just like everyone else! (Of course, Kylie likes Si, but I think I like Jase and Jep the most!  Maybe even Kaye!  Can’t make up my mind!)

AntiquesRoadshow – The night they got the TV working, I watched two episodes!  It’s been so long.  I love seeing how much some of this junk is worth!

Dog The Bounty Hunter – We caught a few new episodes that we haven’t seen before, but I’m so sad that they aren’t making new episodes!

Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives – Guy rocks.  We just love this show.  It’s “money”.

The News – After getting breaking news from Facebook and apps on my phone for seven months, it’s been great to be able to actually watch the news, rather than search for it!

American Idol – That one’s more for Kylie, but it’s been neat seeing some of the stories.  I’m not a big fan of making fun of those poor people who have no clue they can’t sing, but the underdogs who really come out and surprise you.. they’re awesome.

I’m too tired to think, right now, but these are just some of the shows we’ve been watching!

If you were without TV for seven months, what shows would be the first ones you’d find to watch?
