Just about a year ago, I remember being on the hunt for a new home.  We searched all over the west end of Houston, and the market over there was over-priced and under qualified for what we were looking for in a home.  Before we knew it, we were packed up and moved to the east side of town.  Crammed into my parents' home, we began the hunt for a new home.

When we stumbled upon this house, one of the things that grabbed us was that they were mid-rennovation.  Everything was only half finished, so we knew that we would be able to come in and put our own touches and style to the place.  The previous owners put in some really great bathroom features such as high end toilets, showers and tubs complete with awesome shower heads, but they stopped there.  All of the bathroom sinks had those 1980s, ugly, cheap faucets!

Even though our currently decor style is "kid proof", we would like to make some upgrades that are not only kid proof, but nice and modern.  We've looked around Lowe's, several times, for different types of brushed nickel faucets, because we like the style, and it goes with pretty much everything.  The main reason we like the Moen Boardwalk Spot Resist bath faucet, which is brushed nickel, is because it's actually fingerprint resistant and spot resistant!  With four kiddos, that's extremely important.  Not only that, but it's also WaterSense compliant, which means that it conserves water without sacrificing the preformance of the faucet.

Now, if our bathrooms could just stay as clean as the ones in the photo, we'll be doing alright!

Available at Lowe's, the Boardwalk Spot Resist Bath Faucet will be a great addition to our home as well as yours.  Make sure you check out Moen on Facebook and Moen on Twitter.
