I figured I need to get this Halloween post up and out of the way before I start in on Thanksgiving and Christmas! 🙂

The kiddos had a good time last night.  The Teen decided that because she couldn’t go to her friend’s house (on a school night) to watch movies, that she was going to stay home.  So… we had her hand out candy while we took the boys out!

Here’s all of them before we took off..

The Gamer decided he was going to go as a Clone.  This costume was as cheap as they get, because he wore it last year, and it was handed down from a friend.  The helmet is also his friend’s that has been sitting on top of our fridge since LAST Halloween.  I think we need to give that back.

Nothing fit Hawk.  He tried on 3 different costumes, and finally settled on going as a “surfer” for storybook character day at school.  Andy stopped at the store on his way home and grabbed the last costume they had!  We had to cut off several inches for this to fit him! Pretty awesome costume for $20, I think!  He actually wanted to be a goblin.  When he saw the pic of this one, I guess that’s what he pictured as a goblin.  Win/win.

Jett went as Yoda again this year!  It was really, really big on him last year, and this year, it fit him just fine.  He didn’t care.  All he cared about was running from house to house and getting “this” and “that”.  Yes, that’s what he calls his candy.  It’s easy.  He had a blast.  We were really worried that he’d get tired and be scared, but he didn’t at all!

Kylie was sulking inside, so her buddy Xander set up a table and chairs on the front porch complete with a path of strobe lights up the walkway.  They sat and ate handed out all of the candy.

I’m glad everyone had a good time, and I’m definitely glad it’s over!  Bring on Thanksgiving!
