I know I haven’t posted, yet, about my juice cleanse, but I’ve kept up the healthy (and mostly clean) eating since I finished!  I read somewhere that if it’s from a plant or vine, it’s pretty much clean (if unprocessed), so that’s what I’ve been doing.

Today, I poached an egg for the first time.  Well, three eggs.  Two for me and one for Jett, and I added avocado in the mix!  Of course, I invited Alton Brown into my kitchen to teach me how to do it.  It wasn’t that hard.  They weren’t pretty, but he showed me how to make it look pretty!  We make a pretty good team.

Here is the pic I posted on Instagram.  I just added some pepper (no salt) and it was great!

SIMPLE Poached Eggs Recipe:

  • Sauce Pan
  • 1/5 inches Simmering Water (190 degrees)
  • Tropical Traditions Coconut Water Vinegar
  • Eggs

Carefully cup the eggs into the simmering water (like in video).  Wait 4.5 minutes.  Use a slotted spoon to get them out.  Shape them.  Eat.
