This week, Jett’s babysitter said it.  “Mom, he’s just about ready for potty training!”  What she didn’t know is that we already have a cool potty seat for him, and we’ve been asking him if he wants to use it since we got it.  He loves the potty seat, but he’s not quite ready to take the “plunge”!

Me-ify Potty Star! Potty Training iPad App

We were recently asked to review this really cool iPad app called ME-IFY Potty Star!  Can I just say that I think it’s genius to have an app that is specifically for potty learning?

Get it now on iTunes!

My husband downloaded and set up the app on the iPad, and he was laughing the whole time.  What is it about  “potty talk” that always makes people (mostly boys/men) giggle?

Me-ify Potty Star! is a personalized potty training app that allows your child to learn the different elements of going to the bathroom while playing on an app with an avatar that has his/her own features AND name!

Fully Customizable

  • Create a Cartoon Avatar of your Kiddo
  • Record your Child’s Name (so that the app can correctly call your child by name)
  • Select “Potty” words you use at home (tinkle, poop, penis, bottom, etc.)

This is Jett!  It’s actually a pretty cute little representation of him.  He thinks it’s cute, too.

Jett really likes listening to the songs on the app, and he dances along with them.  It’s also fun for him to play (digital) potty games like “Target Practice” where you aim the urine stream at the different toys in the toilet water.

ME-IFY Potty Star! has five different games and activities for the little ones as well as songs about going potty.

This app is so much fun, and even though Jett isn’t quite ready to physically use the potty, my husband and I like that this app will help him be mentally ready when he decides it’s time!  He’ll know all of the different elements of going potty, and he’ll be familiar with the different aspects of the bathroom.
