Bayou City Mamas – Houston Premiere Mom’s Community | #houston
As I sit down to write this, I realize that it’s been almost a week since I made a post!! It’s been a very busy week!
Last night, I was asked to sit on a “Going Green” expert panel for a pretty awesome up and coming mom’s club in the Houston area. It was a lot of fun and an honor to be invited to be on a panel of such wonderful women.
Bayou City Mamas is a premiere community for Houston moms founded by three ladies who have the common goal of connecting new and expectant moms with different businesses, brands, and new friends around the Houston area.
Last night’s event was held at a really cool Stylish Kids’ Resale in the heart of The Heights called Thread Houston! (Not only do I think it’s awesome and centrally located, but they also carry cloth diapers! Score!)
Bayou City Mamas has unique mama’s night out events where they bring in a panel of experts on various featured topics for a question and answer session among moms! At a mama’s night out, the cost of your ticket covers dinner, engaging discussion, fantastic prizes, and awesome gift bags.
Among other events, BCM plays host to Fit4MOM workout classes as well as play dates around the Houston area!

How NEAT. I think that may be what I miss most about my girls being little – I was very active in my Moms Group. I think every city needs something like this! Too cool.
