While some kids have been bundles of energy since the day that they were born, everyone has the one child who is glued to the couch. Keeping these kids active, and the hyperactive kids from destroying the house can be a challenge, but it’s not an impossible feat.

Visit a local pool- Most kids are more than ready for summer, give them a little taste by unpacking their swimsuits and visiting the local pool one Saturday afternoon. The hyperactive kiddos will be completely tuckered out in time for bed, and your less active children will have a chance to get moving!

Go for a walk or bike ride- Taking a family walk or bike ride every week is a great way to explore your community, connect with nature, and get active. If you don’t live in an area that is accessible for walking or bike riding, check out your local state park!

Play sports together- Every family has that one sport that they all love to watch and play. Get the family active this spring by going outside and playing a game of baseball, or tennis when you have a free hour or two. If you want to build a tennis court at home, you can visit https://www.tenniscourtconstruction.org.uk/. Starting a tennis court construction project takes a lot of planning so be sure that you work with a reliable contractor.

How are you keeping your kids active this spring?
