NewAir WCD-100W Triple Tap Water Cooler Review
It’s mega hot here in the Houston area, already, and one thing is for sure… we have to stay hydrated! For a while, we were filling up a gallon jug of water and putting it in the fridge every few hours so that we’d have cold water, but now that we have a NewAir WCD-100W Triple Tap Water Cooler Dispenser for review, we’re so thankful to have cold water 100% of the time!
My first question with this new kitchen appliance was “Does it have a safety switch for the hot water feature?” Our Minion gets into EVERYTHING, and the last thing we need is for him to get burned by hot water!
The answer is YES! Not only does it have a switch where you can turn the hot water off completely in the back, but the actual triple spout feature has a two-step process to get hot water!
IMPORTANT SAFETY FEATURES:
When we first got our water cooler in, the first thing we did was set it up. It took longer to get the system out of the box than it did to set it up which is a major plus in our book. It means that NewAir takes extra care in the shipping process, and they want to deliver a product that you can use right away without having to wait in your excitement.
We then head out to the store to purchase a 5 gallon water bottle for about $8 (the water bottle does not come with the cooler, but we knew that!). We have good water at our house, so this was a one time investment as we refill the bottle ourselves. You can also find different places around town to have them refilled with filtered water for about $0.25 per gallon.
Before adding the water bottle, all we had to do was fill the chamber with clean water and run it through the spouts to clear it out. It’s so easy.

Right now, we’re doing a 24 Day Challenge, so we’re drinking more water than normal. Being able to test the NewAir WCD-100W Triple Tap Water CoolerThis has been a lifesaver for us. We’re only having to refill the water bottle 2-3 times per week rather than a gallon jug several times a day. It’s been a nice addition to our kitchen. I personally think everyone should have one of these!

My most favorite feature about the NewAirs WCD-100W water cooler is that this unit does not require a long installation process. With its freestanding design you simply situate it on a flat surface away from direct sunlight and plug it in.
I love that it is small but still has some storage for cups, etc.

I love that it’s not huge and bulky. The hot and cold water is awesome, too. My kids love oatmeal and I make a lot of baby bottles so this would be great!

Like you, I love that there is a room temperature tap. I think this is great. We do have awful water here and I use a filter but it would be great to have this handy.
