Let me tell you a little story about a brother’s love.

The Tooth Fairy and a Brother's Love | #toothfairy #brothers #sweet

But first, let’s go back a year ago.  The Tooth Fairy is often a slacker around here.  She forgets to stop by and check under pillows for teeth.  It mostly happens the first night after one of my kiddos loses a tooth.

Thanks to the Timehop app, this happened just about a year ago.  The Entertainer lost The Gamer’s tooth, and so this letter was written.

Last week, The Entertainer had to have a tooth extracted by the dentist.  He had some issues when he was a baby, and one of his caps came off.  Rather than re-cap it, the dentist at a local dental laboratory just yanked it. This may not be the best option for a nervous little kid, but it was the fastest to avoid any discomfort.  The Tooth Fairy gave him $5 for that tooth, because instead of it just being quickly pulled, he had to be put under nitrous at the family dentist clinic for an hour to have it extracted and some other things done.  $5.  Rare.

Fast forward to a couple of days ago.  The Gamer lost another tooth.  He put it under his pillow, and the Tooth Fairy missed it.  The next day, The Minion and The Entertainer were playing on The Gamer’s bunk (which is a no-no), and later in the evening, The Gamer was pretty upset that they lost his tooth.

The Gamer didn’t write the Tooth Fairy a note, this time, and the Tooth Fairy passed right on by again.

The next morning, to my surprise, The Gamer announced that the Tooth Fairy had left him $5!!

I was just about to call The Hubby to ask about it when The Entertainer fessed up.

Knowing that the Tooth Fairy wouldn’t leave money where there was no tooth, The Entertainer (who lost The Gamers tooth two years in a row!) took his $5 bill from his R2D2 bank and put it under The Gamer’s pillow.

Now that… is a brother’s love.

However, last night, the Tooth Fairy came to me and gave me $5 to give back to The Entertainer and asked me to thank him for his kindness and selflessness.

Win/win.
