This week has been full of new things.

We had VBS at our church from Sunday to Wednesday.  I ran registration, and it was crazy fun!  I had a blast, and I had a great crew to help me.  Never, EVER in a million years did I think I would like helping in the children’s ministry, but when God tells you to do something, you pretty much better run with it.

Since I’ve started working for someone other than myself  (I was going to say… in the home for out of the home.. but that’s confusing!), it’s not easy having two older boys here during the day doing nothing but playing the Xbox.  I’ve signed them up for an older kids’ daycare center where they basically run them ragged all day with dodgeball, jujitsu, tumbling, obstacle courses, swimming, and lots of other crazy stuff.

They totally enjoy it.

I’m glad to know that the boys are being active, because the thought of them doing nothing all. day. long. but fighting with each other over who gets to plat the Xbox next had me a little stressed out!

The Minion continued on with his new daycare.  He’s been there for a couple of months, but what’s new about it is…. overnight…..  his class size dropped from about 15 or 20 to MAYBE 7?  (That’s just my perception from when I drop him off in the mornings! There may be more.  He’s loving it, so I’m not stressing.

Oh.. and this guy turned 11 this week, and I totally forgot to blog about it.  Yeah, that mom.  Happy Birthday to The Gamer.

Happy Birthday, Braxton!
