Spark of Amber Review – 18″ Amber Necklace for Mom | #Giveaway (5/23)

It's no secret that we use amber teething necklaces with our little ones.  No, that doesn't mean that Jett is cutting teeth, right now, by chewing on a necklace.  He's simply wearing a very cool and hip amber necklace.  What you may not know is that I also wear amber necklaces, but I wear them to help control headaches and earaches.  Not to mention, necklaces by Spark of Amber are beautiful and reasonably priced! As I've written before, Amber is a great, natural way to relieve pain.  From a previous post on natural teething relief: The misconception behind teething necklaces…

Moby GO Baby Carrier Review | #babywearing #attachmentparenting #ap

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of attachment parenting?  To me, it's become a way of life, but before that happened, the first thing that would pop into my mind would be a mom or dad wearing their baby in a carrier.  Babywearing is an age old tradition among mothers who want to keep their babies close as well as be hands free. Several of my friends have floorboards or trunks full of several different types of baby carriers - one for every occasion.  Until we cleaned out the van and replaced all of…

I hate having to do surgery on my kids! | #parenting

In the past two weeks, I've had two things fall on the floor and break.  One was a bottle of vanilla (full bottle, too!) that was made of amber glass, and the other one was a coffee mug that Andy gave me from when the Super Bowl was in Houston.  That one, Jett picked up and threw across the living room. With the vanilla bottle, I thought I cleaned up with really well.  Not once, but TWICE, we found Jett with larger shards of glass from that bottle in house mouth. Yesterday, when Jett broke my coffee mug, I pieced…
