Ms. Trisha’s No-No Rules for Brandcation Song! | #brandcation #pigeonforge #dollyparton

Just lots of good will, and maybe one small thrill, but there's nothing dirty going on! You know, we're having an awesome 80's party at Brandcation this time, and there's not really much that I like better than some good ol 80's music!  However, I'm sitting here listening to my Dolly Parton Playlist on Spotify this is kinda appropriate, too, because some of Dolly's BEST music was from the 80's!  I'm actually thinking about changing my mind from my simple 80's shirt to something a little Chicken  I mean, I've got the boobs for almost. We can't forget one of…

Lumber Jack Feud – Eye Candy & Testosterone Filled Dinner Show! | #Brandcation #PigeonForge

This just in!  We're taking a trip to the Lumber Jack Feud – Pigeon Forge Dinner Theater!  After checking out this place, I'm ready to today. I think this is probably going to be one of the most exciting and unique dinner shows I've ever seen! Haha!  There is going to be a ton of catcalls as the group of Brandcation women eat dinner while watching a bunch of brawny men flex their muscles and log sawing skills!! My, oh my. I mean, seriously, check 'em out!  These guys are HAWT!  *OMG* Taking place in a new 10 million dollar facility, once…

Pigeon Forge Attractions | #Brandcation #PigeonForge

I can't believe, that in less than TWO MONTHS, I'll be headed to yet another Brandcation! I'm so excited, I can hardly contain myself. We've had a really long summer with moving - twice, finding our place in this town, setting the kids up for activities and involvement, and gearing up to go back to their new school (we moved here with 2 weeks left in the school year last year, so they at least got to meet some friends!). I need this Brandcation.  I NEED to see my friends again. I need a 16 hour (one way) road trip like…

Country Tonite – Best Show of the Year! | #brandcation #pigeonforge

I love it when I tell people that I am going to Tennessee in October!  I get a lot of "Oh, you need to go here." and "Make sure you stop by there!" type of suggestions.  It's so neat to see people so excited about the places they've been. One of the places that has come up quite often is Country Tonite in Pigeon Forge.  I hear that they have an awesome show, and it's one of those "must see" and "must visit" kind of places. Country Tonite Theatre in Tennessee is the best value in Pigeon Forge entertainment! Experience…

Paula and I would be great additions to the Hollywood Wax Museum! | #brandcation #pigeonforge

"Dr. Jones!  NO MORE PARACHUTES!" Yes, that's what we hear around our house when we're waiting for someone to arrive.  It's our boys' code for "THEY'RE HERE!"  Why, I don't know. They're just geeks like that! My boys are going to FLIP OUT when I come back from Brandcation in October with pictures of myself with Indiana Jones! I won't even have to tell them that it was actually a wax statue from the Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. They're probably go nuts after I tell them that they're going to get to have their picture taken with…

The Old Mill in Pigeon Forge – Great Historical Vacation Attraction | #brandcation #pigeonforge

I love history.  I love to compare the times and look at where we (as a country) were as well as where we are now.  Times have changed, but that doesn't make our history any less relevant. To add to our awesome itinerary at Brandcation this October is to take a tour of and eat lunch at The Old Mill in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. According to their site, The Old Mill not only provided staples of meals and flours to the early settlers in the 1800s, but in 1935, it provided crucial electricity to Pigeon Forge! Of course, I'm also looking forward…

Titanic Museum Pigeon Forge – I’ll be boarding the Titanic in October! | #brandcation #pigeonforge

One of Kylie's favorite historical stories and movies is Titanic.  She loves reading about the history, relationships, and even looking at all of the cool items that have been recovered from the ship. When I told her that I'd be going to the Titanic Museum in October for Brandfluential: Brandcation Blog Cabin, she was extremely jealous, and wondered if I could smuggle her to Pigeon Forge in the trunk. Sans the ship actually sinking, how cool would it have been to be able to be on the Titanic? I bet my friend Candy, from Serendipity Mommy, would have been a rockin'…

When I first mentioned, to my parents, that we are going to Tennessee in October for the next Brandcation, my mom told me that I am going to absolutely LOVE the Dixie Stampede! My boys even have some cowboy cups that they love to drink from! My mom and my dad had a great time when they went, and there's nothing like getting together with 30+ of your favorite blogging friends to have a blast at a dinner attraction! Dixie Stampede  Searching for family fun and adventure during your vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee? Join Dolly Parton's Dixie…

Headed to the Smoky Mountains? Cabin Fever Vacations has you covered! #brandcation

This summer, it was nice to be able to go on a vacation and not stay in a small house or hotel. We went to South Padre Island and stayed in a very nice and very large house for our family of 14!  The quarters were very close, but we had a great time. This October, I'm headed, once again, to my favorite bloggy getaway - Brandcation.  This time, it's called Blog Cabin. For the first time in Brandcation history, all 30+ bloggers (I lost count!) will be under one roof! Thanks to Cabin Fever Vacations, we'll get to know each…

Wordless Wednesday: Home – 1,169 Miles Away #gatorland #travel

For those of you new here for Wordless Wednesday, I (Lisa) took a trip (from Texas) with a blogging group (Brandcation) this past weekend to Kissimmee, Florida - no husband (Andy), no kids.  Ironically, I glanced at ONE piece of artwork the entire time I was gone, and this is what I saw.   Photo taken at Gatorland in Kissimmee, Florida.  Actually, it was right across from Check out the Top 5 Musts at Gatorland!
