This is posted over at The Cloth Diaper Foundation, however, I thought I’d post this here as well for my readers!

RE: Resignation Letter of Lisa Johnston, Operations Manager / Board Chair

Dear Board of Directors:

With a heavy heart and many memories, I am announcing my resignation as the
Operations Manager and Board Chair from The Cloth Diaper Foundation, Inc.
effective April 18, 2011.

After much prayer and consideration, my family and I have decided that after almost
two and a half years of serving others, it is time to focus more on my very busy family,
pregnancy, and personal wellness.

I am confident that the organization will be in very capable and caring hands, and I
will continue to volunteer in the background and train others to take over my positions
for as long as I am needed.

I appreciate the opportunity to help so many wonderful families and babies for the
time that I have served as Operations Manager and Board Chair, and I will miss my
positions dearly.

May the Lord bless this organization and volunteers for all of the wonderful things that
have been accomplished in its 6 years of operation, and I look forward to watching
The Cloth Diaper Foundation, Inc. prosper in the future.

Sincerely,
Lisa Johnston

  1. I think you made the right choice for your family Lisa you did an amazing job @ CDF and Im so glad I got to meet you in all this<3 There is nothing more important than family time and now youll have more of it<3

  2. Lisa, I posted this on FB but they just deleted the whole page so you probably won’t see it. Thank you for all that you’ve done. I don’t know how I ever found the CDF on Facebook in the first place. I have no friends or family that CD. CDing wasn’t even a consideration until I somehow stumbled upon that page. We were in bad shape last year financially and expecting #4, a surprise. To me your service has been less about the 12 diapers I received and more about what you and Roxy and other mommas on that page taught me and helped me to do. It’s like the old “teach a man to fish” adage. You did more for people than you will ever know. My son is 4 months old and through CDF’s help now has his own stash. A nice one too! I am forever grateful for your service and Roxy’s. I pray that you both will receive many blessings in this next season of your life. Thank you for changing my life.

    Sincerely,

    Stephanie
