As I started to write my Booskerdoo Coffee Review, I realized that I ended up getting way too off course for a review, so I decided to make that a nostalgic coffee post all in it’s own and dedicate this post to the awesomeness that is Booskerdoo.

There are four basic things you need to know about Booskerdoo Coffee.

Fair trade

Organic

Freshness overload

Flavor, flavor, bo-blavor

That’s it.  End of review.  Buy it.

In all seriousness… Did you know that coffee is best the first week after it’s roasted?  Yeah, neither did I.

Booskerdoo Fresh Roasted Coffee Co. has freshly roasted coffee that’s right out of the hopper straight into the bag that you get in the mail! Your coffee beans don’t sit in a warehouse for weeks or months before it’s shipped to you.  It’s that fresh.

One of the coolest features of Booskerdoo coffee is that each bag is stickered and dated specifically for the blend you’ve chosen.   The stickers tell you the blend, and sometimes, even a little about the flavor and what to pair it with.

Here are the two pounds of coffee that I received for my review.

Bali Blue Moon Organic

From Indonesia, this large soft bean grown at lower-than-usual elevations has an extremely thick body and a rich flavor of sweet spices, sugar cain, and coco.

We roast it to that pretty-dark level they call “French”… shiny with oil and dark brown. This is one of Roastmaster James’ favorites. “Pour me a Bali… please?”

Jersey Diner-Style Blend

This is the classic cup of coffee… nutty, sweet, and refreshingly mild. Our fresh and flavorful rendition of what one would get at any road-side diner. It’s comprised of light roasted Colombia Excelso, with a bit of medium roasted Brazil Cerrado for added richness.
Sidebar – Ppssstt!  Hey Roastmaster James!  All it took was one cup of the Jersey Diner-Style Blend for me to admit that it was my favorite.  Just sayin’.

  3. 50+ years of drinking coffee, and Booskerdoo, is the BEST!
    In addition to the coffee’s outstanding flavor, it’s organic, and totally fresh.
    Not to mention the shops delectable, freshly baked sweets!
    What’s more your servers are the BEST.
    They are extremely Buskerdoo knowledgeable, and make any visit to the shop, a treat.

  4. I drink 2 cups of coffee a day and I like my coffee with a little body to it at least. Some mornings I want the spoon to stand up in the cup. I have drank 4 flavor blends of Booskerdoo and each one has been my favorite!

  6. I love the Jersey Diner or the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe- either as ised with almond milk as a summer treat every day, or prepared as a latte during the colder months. It’s perfect, every time!

  7. Used to drink coffee all the time! I had to cut down on caffeine for health reasons, BUT I MISS IT SO. Now I drink decaf just for the flavor :3 Iced coffees are my weakness.

  14. Usually 2 – 3 cups in the morning. I’m a weak soul according to my hubby because I have to have cream in my coffee and he, the tough one, drinks it black.

  16. I drink 2 travel mugs of coffee everyday. I use coffeemate in it. I will use no other brand of creamer and now that I found Booskerdoo am pretty loyal to my faves!

  28. I drink coffee all day, usually around 5 cups. I love it! I like medium roasts the best. I usually add a touch of milk and a tsp of sugar, but I also drink black coffee sometimes too.

  29. I might like the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Washed the best. It’s very hard to judge a coffee by it’s description, but boy, you guys make this one sound yummy!
