Recently I had the chance to check out and review the Dolphin Paradise App. I wasn’t expecting such a fun game at first glance, but after playing around with it, the app pleasantly surprised me.

When you download the Dolphin Paradise App and open it up, you’re greeted by a peaceful cove and a dolphin swimming around. The instructions walk you through how to greet your dolphin for the first time as well as how to feed and pet it. Don’t think that you’ll only get one dolphin though! Players have the chance to take care of a whole cove of dolphins.

Aside from feeding your dolphins and petting them (The Minion always says he wants to “tickle the fish”!), you can also teach them tricks. The more tricks you teach them (you have the option to name your dolphins too!) the more you level up, and when you level up, you get more energy and the chance to teach your dolphins more difficult tricks. Eventually, your dolphins can perform in shows!

There are also mini missions that you and your dolphins can do together, such as cleaning up the lagoon to earn shells and pearls to buy props and decorations for your habitat.

The 3D graphics to the app are pretty much on point, and the music and sounds are soothing. The cove is crystal clear, the dolphins are realistic, and the details don’t overpower the fun of the game.

I love that the app just isn’t about play, it also teaches kids about keeping their environment clean, as well as introducing them to the wonderful world of dolphins! The dolphin facts the app presents help to make learning fun as kids implement them while taking care of their dolphins.
