LeapFrog Epic Android Based Kids Tablet | #LeapFrogMom
Just when you thought that Platinum was the top of the line, LeapFrog goes EPIC. I didn’t think it could get much better than Platinum until I started playing around with the new LeapPad Epic. The Minion turned four years old this month, and he was super excited to get the new LeapFrog Epic tablet for his birthday!
I can tell you right now… what he loves about this tablet is that it’s his very own. Although it (unknowingly to him) is a review product, he opened it as a gift at his birthday party and was able to stake claim to it as his very own! (Everything else around here always seems to be fair game to whomever is passing by!)
That’s some serious present unwrapping! Must. get. every. piece. of. paper. and. tape. off.
I was at a conference, so missed his party, however, the hubs got it all set up for him, and he had a blast playing with it. We have a “no electronics” rule at Nana’s house, but because it was his birthday, I think they gave him a pass on that!
The LeapFrog Epic is great for kiddos 3-9 years old, so it’s tailored to fit his educational and entertainment needs!
As techy parents, we are very happy with the LeapFrog Epic.
Our favorite part about this tablet is that it’s Android based (and we’re big Droidies!) so you can do more with it than most educational tablets. (Plus, it is compatible with chargers we already have, so that’s awesome.)

- Parental Controls for locking down websites and adding more games and apps – We all know that this is great. Because it is an Android operating system, the tablet allows internet access, so the parental controls are great to picking and choosing what can and can’t be viewed and/or added.
- Android Based – The LeapPad Epic works on an Android 4.4 operating system.
- Peer to Peer Game Play – Like other LeapPad tablet, the Epic offers peer to peer gaming. It’s so much fun when they can play games with others just like how adults are able to do so on sites like 해외배팅사이트.
- Grows with your Child – I like that this tablet will grow with him for quite a few years to come. The apps and games are geared toward specific age groups, so when your child ages, all you have to do is find new apps!
- PROTECTIVE BUMPER – YES! There’s a protective bumper included with the Epic which is fabulous!!
- Great Price Tag – $139.99 is a great price for this awesome tablet.
