Like the rest of the nation, our gaggle has jumped on the Fuller House bandwagon.  I mentioned something to the Hubs about the Teen waking up on launch day and watching it while she was doing her makeup, and I was super surprised that he actually said that he was looking forward to watching it as well.

Netflix Original Fuller House

It’s the kind of continuation type show that you either like or don’t like, and we actually like it a lot!  It’s most definitely a guilty pleasure for both of us.

I hadn’t read any of the reviews before watching so that I wouldn’t cloud my own judgement going into the first episode, and I really felt like we picked up where we left off with the quirkiness and goofy humor.

The only warning that I’d give to parents is that it’s NOT your 80’s style Full House!  Yes, the people and the house are the same, but like all families who grow up, it comes with more adult humor, adult situations, and adult attire.  There are a couple of risque outfits and scenes, but all in all, I can see us watching as long as we have episodes to watch!

This is definitely great for your Family Night In!

If you’re looking for something a little less silly and more suited for adults, here’s another great series to start!

Before we started watching Fuller House, we were basically binge watching episodes of different shows here and there to get caught up.  This last month, however, pretty much every spare hour we get has gone to watching the unlikeliest of candidates… Bates Motel.

We put it off for the longest time because we didn’t really know which direction it would go, but we found out really quickly that it’s a perfect combination strange and interesting so it keeps our interest.  I thought it was going to be a little more creepy than it really is, but it’s a great “story” or evening “soap opera” type show if that’s what you like.
