Cute Homeschool Math Story – greater than and less than

Yesterday, Brax and I were working on his homeschool Math work of “greater than an less than“.

We talked about the different words for “greater” and “less”.  We wrote down a few:

> — greater — bigger — larger — more

< — less — smaller — fewer — “not as many”

After a few minutes of not getting it, he finally clicked and said….

OOOOOOOOOOHHH!!!  So I would rather eat 99 cookies than 53 cookies, because 99 cookies is WAY more!

So he wrote on his paper…

99 > 53
