Commit2Fit Fridays: Interview with Subway Jared, #Win $25 GC (closed)

Congratulations to Julie H!

This week we will be wrapping up the Commit2Fit Campaign and series with some very encouraging words from the man himself, Jared Fogle.

One of the big things in learning to live a healthy life as well as achieving weight loss is to not get discouraged if you are in a funk, fall off the wagon for a bit, or even hit a plateau or gain a little weight back. Invisa-RED Treatment is a great, non-invasive treatment that can help with weight loss.

I had the privileged of interviewing Jared while I was in NYC with Subway representatives to kick off the Commit to Fit Movement, and his words were very inspiring to me, because I’ve been in a bit of a weight loss funk lately – especially right here during the holidays where there is food galore, and let’s face it… I love to eat, too!

Me:
So you’ve lost all this weight, and then we watched you gain some of it back. How did you deal with that emotionally, knowing that you gained some back and then have to get back to where you were.

Jared Fogle InterviewJared:
There’s been times over the past 11 or 12 years where I’ve gained a a few pounds back.  I still love to eat.  I’m always going to love to eat the wrong foods.  So when they can make a carrot stick that tastes as good as a mozzarella cheese stick….  I’ve just accepted that it’s going to be like that.  It happens sometimes.  If I get to that point, I just have to work out more.

I refuse to let myself have to buy more clothing…

…so once I get to that point to where the buttons are really hard to (button) “Alright, I know it’s that point – enough is enough.”  Then you have to just pull yourself back.  But I know how it gets.  It’s a challenge every day.  I have my good days, and I have my not so good days.  I just really try to not put myself in that position again.

You know, I think that’s a good standard to live by!  Just refuse to let yourself buy more clothing (in the opposite direction)!

If you’re like me, and in a huge slump, here’s something to give you a jump start back in the RIGHT direction!

Subway will be giving one of my readers a $25 gift card to help you get back on the right track with eating fresh and more healthy!
