BURN THE FLOOR, the electrifying Latin and Ballroom dance, is coming to HOUSTON next week!
Kylie, our very outgoing and extremely talented 11 year old is great at almost everything she does athletically – except for dancing! Unfortunately, she’s like her mother – zero rhythm! It’s ok though, because her love for music and dance is just as great as her love for soccer and other sports. She’s really started getting into dance, and the ballroom dance shows that come on TV, especially Dancing with the Stars. My mom introduced her to the contest, and she wanted, so badly, for Kyle Massey to win!
She is going to be SUPER excited to find out that this Tuesday, I will be taking her to see Burn the Floor featuring So You Think You Can Dance alums Anya Garnis, Pasha Kovalev, Ashleigh Di Lello, Ryan Di Lello, Robbie Kmetoni, Janette Manrara and Karen Hauer. She is a.b.s.o.l.u.t.e.l.y. going to FLIP when she finds out that Mark Ballas will be there. I don’t know who will be more excited – Kylie for being surprised with such an awesome trip to the ballroom, or me to see how overly excited she will be to go!
Oh, wait.. did I forget to mention that YOU could have a chance to go with us as well? I did? Shoot, I’m sorry! Ok here are the deets!

I want to go! I LOVE SYTYCD. Like you and Kylie, I also have zero rhythm, but I do love to watch other people dance lol! Hubby’s participating in TWO art shows this weekend, leaving me home alone to party with my kiddos on Saturday night. I will desperately need a night out after that. 🙂

I’d definitely have a little 4 week old boy in a wrap with me and a girl friend I think. I asked my husband and he pulled faces then began to dance terribly… hehehe

Welcome to the area. We are in sugar land. We moved here from Katy after living there for about 5 years this summer. We do a lot of sports and sports activities as well as things with church. What area are you in? That might help me narrow some things down for you!

We’re over in Pearland. We are involved in churches in Montrose, and out closer to Katy, so we sure get around.

I started dancing when i was very young and now it’s kinda on and off…i’m just soo inspired by the pros of DWTS i’d like to get back to it!
Awesome! Did you do recitals and stuff? We aren’t all That familiar with dance but give us a baseball glove or soccer ball and we are good to go!

So excited about this giveaway! I have always wanted to ballroom dance, I wish my hubby had rhythm so we could dance together. One Birthday he got me lessons, he was so funny trying to salsa!!!
I loving watching Simply Come Dancing the British version when I was a teen, it started almost ten years ago now! How crazy! Me and my grandma would watch it with a cup of tea in hand!
