I’m sure we’ve all heard the story about The Drawbridge Keeper where a man must choose between sacrificing his son or a train full of unsuspecting people.

On March 1, 2011, you can see this story come to life from your own home in the Oscar-Nominated film MOST.  There are subtitles in many scenes, but it is not a distraction from the great film and storyline.  The emotion in the acting is spot on, perhaps enhanced by acting lessons like those at The Actor’s Group Orlando, and the eyes – I will never forget the love and sorrow in the eyes.

This is one of the most heart wrenching stories every told as the tale has been around since the 1800’s.  As parents there’s nothing we would not do to keep our children safe, however when you must choose between the life of your own child and the innocent lives of hundreds, the tables turn.  MOST is an amazingly beautifully made short film that takes us through every emotion that a single man endures through fatherhood from absolute love and joy to pain and sorrow to new hope in life.

I will be sharing this wonderful short film with my family, my church family, and my friends.

MOST:  The Deluxe Edition DVD
33-minute short film directed by Bobby Garabedian

MOST, the Czech word for “The Bridge,” is a fitting title for this 21st-century parable
about a loving father, his young son, and the fateful day when they attempt to head off
an impending rail disaster. Hundreds of passengers aboard an oncoming steam train are
completely unaware of the danger that looms as they head toward an open drawbridge.
As a desperate young woman witnesses an act of mercy beyond imagination, her life is
changed forever—as are the lives of all who see this film. Both heart wrenching and
glorious, MOST vividly portrays the greatest offering of love, sacrifice, hope, and
forgiveness known to man.

Purchase a copy of MOST on March 1 from Christian stores and online retailers.
