GREAT NEWS!  We’ve found a new diaper to add to the bin of favorites!

I’m not sure why I’ve never tried one before, but I’ve recently been given the opportunity to try out GroVia diapers, and I think I’m in love!

Whether you use the All in One (AIO) or the System, Grovia offers an adorably trim yet extremely functional cloth diaper for your stash!

I am used to using AIO diapers.  They are easy, quick, and daddy approved.  However, when I received my very first GroVia Shell and Reusable Soaker Pad, I was shaking my head wondering why I hadn’t taken the plunge sooner.

It. is. so. easy.

The GroVia System is basically a suped up AIO with a snap in absorbent layer, rather than a sewn in layer.  There is a snap at the front and back of the soaker so that there is no guess work for the placement of the soaker.  It stays in place so that it doesn’t move around in the shell, and so that the mess stays IN the soaker and minimizes the chances of it spilling into the shell.

From Gro-Via.com:

What is the GroVia Diapering System?
GroVia is a modern, one-size diapering system. Its unique, waterproof shell and organic cotton soaker pad minimizes waste and cost. When the soaker pad is wet, simply replace with a fresh, dry one!

My Favorite Features:

  • Waterproof Soaker Pad – The snap in Stay Dry Soaker Pad has a  TPU or Thermoplastic Polyurethane lining which is similar to PUL to keep moisture from soaking through and onto the shell.
  • Replaceable Soaker Pads – Because of the TPU lining, all I have to do is pull out the Soaker Pad and replace it with a new one!  This helps minimize your overall stash cost and wash load because you do not have to buy an entire set of full diapers and you don to have to wash a whole diaper with each change
  • Closures – I love the Hook Loop closures!  It’s not scratchy like Velcro and Aplix, and when he’s wearing this, I do not have to worry about putting on a tshirt or shorties so that his legs do not get scratched.
  • Upper/Closure Fabric – I also love that the fabric on the upper part of the diaper as well as the tabs are soft, yet give you overlapping options on the tabs without the extra bulk that Velcro and Aplix often have.
  • Laundry Tabs – Grovia Hook Loop diapers have a tuck under tab feature that makes for fool proof diaper chain free washing!  (Diaper chains are when all the Velcro parts start sticking, and your result is a chain of diapers coming out of the wash!)

As hard as I try, I can’t find fault with the Grovia Diapering System.  I will be changing Jett into a Grovia diaper for The Great Cloth Diaper Change!!

You can purchase the GroVia system directly from GroVia or one of their retailers!
