I’ve written about my problems with breastfeeding before.  It hasn’t been catastrophic or anything but recurring plugged ducts can not only be excruciatingly painful but they will also drain the life out of you in a heartbeat.

On top of my prenatals I also take several supplements daily including:

  • Vitamin C
  • Lecithin
  • Fenugreek
  • Fish oil
  • Probiotics

I was introduced to Tropical Traditions Antioxidant Natural Greens, and I really like that it is packed full of lecithin which has been extremely helpful with my duct issues. Although I cant give you medical advice I will say that my midwife recommended that I use Tropical Traditions Natural Greens as a booster for my problem. (Ask your health care provider if this is right for you.)

This is why.  One Serving contains the following (among lots others):
  • Vitamin C 100 mg
  • Flax Blend 2600 mg
  • Sunflower Lecithin 1800 mg
  • Probiotics 200mg

With the Tropical Traditions Natural Greens I am able to mix and drink an 8 ounce drink each day and eleminate several of the rather large pills I have to take.  I sometimes add a little coconut oil to it!  Did you know there are hundreds of uses for coconut oil?  Check them out!  Tropical Traditions the best place to get Virgin Coconut Oil.

Although it is a little grainy (like most health smoothie/shakes, it has a fantastic flavor that more than makes up for the texture in the mix itself.

One way that I have found to combat the texture is to add Greek yogurt and a little milk rather than water. It makes a fantastic smoothie!
