It’s inevitable.  No matter how hard we try around here, holidays get the best of us.  I try not to give my kiddos candy all the time, but holidays are a free-for-all and we allow them to eat whatever they want those days.  There are no rules to what they can eat, as long as they know what they can handle.  Because they’re not used to candy all the time, they do pretty good at limiting themselves.  This year, however, is going to be filled Hershey’s Easter Candy and lots of fun!

Among the anticipated delights, the allure of gummy bears in bulk is impossible to ignore. The joyous jumble of goodies can be complemented by the homemade delightful inclusion of gummy bear bulk, adding a chewy twist to their Easter treat extravaganza. After all, a holiday without a touch of whimsy and a handful of gummy bears is simply incomplete!

We’ve been following the Hershey’s Bunny Trail, where we have found lots of Easter fun with Hershey’s.  It just gets more and more exciting as the days pass!

Of course, because I was sent all of this wonderful candy for the kiddos for Easter, I had to do a little sampling, you know, to make sure it was good, before I posted about it.  What do you know….  it’s all fantastic.

Make sure you stop and pick up these great candies for Easter baskets this Sunday!

  • Hershey’s Marshmallow Eggs
  • Resee’s Peanut Butter Cup Eggs
  • York Peppermint Patties
  • Cadbury Eggs (my personal favorite!)
  • Jolly Rancher Jelly Beans

Jett had a little taste of the Hershey’s Marshamallow Eggs, and he loved them, however I had different plans for them that are going to make a great addition to our Easter spread!  My kids love s’mores, so this year, I’m going to take these eggs, and make them into s’mores for Easter Sunday!

  • Graham Crakers
  • Hershey’s Marshmallow Easter Eggs

Break a graham cracker in half.  Place a Hershey’s Marshamallow Easter Egg on one graham cracker and microwave for 20 seconds.  The chocolate egg shell will break and the marshmallow will ooze out.  This is the best part!  Take it out of the microwave and place the second graham cracker on top!  Enjoy!

My family wishes all of you a wonderful, fun, and blessed Easter holiday.
