Every child dreams and many parents are turning their kids’ dreams into reality by giving their children a themed room to bring their dreams to life. Whether they dream of becoming a princess, killing dragons, or simply escaping into nature, the following creative children’s bedrooms help spark imagination in every child.

5. Princess Paradise

Practically every little girl dreams of a princess bedroom, but the bedroom by the children’s furniture company Posh Tots blows the roof off of every other fantasy room in the country. The center piece of all of this is a Fantasy Coach bed, modeled after a carriage much like what you’d see in a Cinderella movie. The room comes complete with castle decor surrounding the door and a stunning mural backdrop. The company designs countless other carriages and themed beds, such as tree houses, bunk bed castles, and more. For more inspiring themes, visit their website.

4. Mini Golf Medieval Dream

The Propeller Island City Lodge in Berlin features 30 spectacular rooms themed each in their own unique way to give every child the vacation of a lifetime. One of the most fabulous rooms features a medieval theme with bright castle murals. Not only do kids get to escape into a world where they rule the land, but they get to do it playing mini golf, with a super-mini golf course surrounding the castle bed. The entire room encloses children into their own world, where even the blinds blend into the mural when closed.

3. Pirate Ship Fantasy

When Steve Kuhl designed the ultimate pirate ship bedroom, he made one little boy happy and thousands of other children envious. The base of the room features blue walls and fish murals while a second level takes a rope bridge across to a pirate ship loft. There’s even an integrated hidden slide in the room that allows those in the ship to quickly travel to the lower level. For a complete tour of the room, check out this article.

2. Cabin Retreat

In Keith McNally’s home, each of the five children have their own bedroom with a unique theme. One of the themes features a cabin appeal and makes you feel like you’re out in the woods. The rustic woodwork adds to the charm, and the bed sits in a cuddly space surrounded by window coverings and Fixed Skylights to make the sleeping area cozy. If the room is on a side of the house that receives extended periods of sunlight throughout the day, you may want to consider investing in Heat Resistant Film. It can prevent hot spots and fading, and you’ll save a bit of money by not having to run your A/C nearly as much.

1. Tree House Hideaway

One of the coolest bedrooms perhaps ever designed for a child comes complete with a tree house loft and an outdoor theme. The room brings every element of a kid’s favorite backyard right into their bedroom, complete with a swing, ropes, ladders, and more. A mural of the outdoors surrounds the room, and several fake trees sit inside the room, such as the one that the tree house loft sits near, or the one in the center of the room that holds the swing.

If you’re searching for children’s bedroom ideas, use some of these amazing rooms as inspiration.
