Spring is finally here after what seems like a never ending winter, and there are quite a few ways to celebrate the arrival of lightweight jackets and cherry blossoms.

Ways to Celebrate Spring With Your Kids | #spring #kids

Go to the park and feed the ducks– Kids love being able to feed the ducks at the local pond, and what better way to celebrate spring than to welcome back the ducks?

Throw a spring party– Put a new twist on tea parties with your little girls and throw a spring inspired party instead. It can be for just the family at lunch one Saturday, or with a few friends. Use spring inspired colors to make decorations and whip up some light food like cucumber sandwiches or strawberry scones.

Plant flowers– With the cold weather gone in most of the states, planting flowers in your window boxes or in flower pots outside your home is a great Sunday afternoon activity with the kids. They’re way less maintenance than a garden, and they completely cheer up the atmosphere of your home.

Take a spring walk– On a nice day, take the kids for a walk through your neighborhood. Get the littles to look for birds, flowers, worms, and tree’s budding. Most kids love hunting for items that signify spring, and they’ll love getting out of the house for a change. Maybe later on once the little one is all grown up you can take him on a hunting trip when he’s old enough to handle a firearm under adult supervision. Curiosity grows as the child ages, so turning a hunting trip into a family tradition for every spring can be a great way to bond, you can even start collecting gear like a Waterfowl Hunting Jacket and Backpack
