We've all done it.  Get ready for bed, make sure all the doors are locked, turn out all the lights, and put a diaper (whether it's cloth or disposable) on the night stand so that we don't have to go fumbling through the dark when the baby wakes up in need of changing. A clean diaper on the nightstand. A fellow cloth diaper mom (and retailer) did just that.  No harm done, right? Sadly, here is her story. One more reason to use cloth!!! It has been a rough day here at our house. I have had Grace in disposable diapers…

Do you have stinky cloth diapers?  Does the ammonia smell make you want to give up on your cloth diapering adventure?  Don't give up!  There is hope for your funky stash! When Hawk was little, his diapers developed that "stunk" as I like to call stinky-funk.  Perhaps, it's just because as a child, I always called skunks "stunks". Same thing! Disposable Diapers vs. Cloth Diapers in an Inflated Economy

Preface: This post is based on a large quantity (156) package of disposable diapers purchased at which is significantly cheaper than the smaller (32ish) packages that most people purchase due to costs.  It is also based on the fact that the larger the baby, the larger the size they will need and although the package of the diaper stays the same, the number of diapers in the package is less, therefore making the per diaper cost more expensive.  It is also based on one brand of diapers. I read, yesterday that the price of disposable diapers is going up, possibly…
