Well, it’s the two minutes and forty four seconds you’ve all been waiting for! Yep, the vlog on my Smooth Fitness treadmill. Once again, I apologize for the crumminess of my camera quality. Wouldn’t you know, my battery was dead from my LAST vlog, but it’s a good thing that I checked it, because I’d hate to take off to NYC with a dead battery in my camera, right?
Leah, Rachel, and I have been invited to join Jared Fogle (Yep, Subway Jared!) in Central Park on Tuesday morning during one of his marathon training sessions. We’re going to be followed by the media, have our own paparazzi, and all that really cool jazz. My most prized coffee cup! Haha! I won this cup because I took a dare. Yes, a dare! I sang the Chiquita Banana song, and put it on YouTube as a dare from @Bookieboo I was supposed to win coupons, however, I got a LOVELY Chiquita prize pack with a mug, tshirt, banana hanger, and lunch bag! Awesome!
For about two and a half weeks now, Kylie (my 11 year old) has been having tremendous back pain. She can’t remember a definitive starting point, but she does know – all too well – that she’s having trouble sleeping, sitting, standing, doing school work, laying, watching a movie, swimming, walking, riding in a car, and so on and so forth. The pain is not localized, yet it travels around her back. Kinda see where we’re stumped?
The bottom line is, we’ve got to make that mental decision to just practice these methods of portion control. Think before you eat. Tell yourself exactly how much you’re going to eat and exactly when you’re going to put the fork down and walk away!
