Adding insult to injury – Dr. Kylie’s Diagnosis

As you know, for the past two weeks, we've been dealing with all kinds of sickness around the Johnston household.  Kylie was out of school for a week with a bad case of pharyngitis, Andy was out a few days with what he thinks was the flu, and the boys had strep.  I had a little fever here and there, but overall, I was well enough to keep things together around her. 5/6 of us are sick!

The whole family is, or has been, sick. Kylie was sick all last week. Jett's been off and on sick, coughy, and nose runny. Yesterday morning, Hawk sprouted a fever. Yesterday afternoon, I sprouted a fever. Last night, Andy sprouted a fever. Braxton is the only one still hanging on. Whatever we have going around doesn't care about preventative vitamins or our schedules or anything else.  It just took us by storm! If you're wondering why I don't have much new content, that's why. Teen down. Teen down.

This weekend, Kylie went the Hot Hearts Youth Conference in Beaumont where she was surrounded by about 7,400 other kiddos, and they had an absolute blast! This week, it's a different story. Sunday night, she started running a low grade fever.  The youth were leading the Sunday night service at church, so my mom took her up there so the could get up and speak about conference. Apparently, they are housed in various churches, and a few of the leaders told us that they had the A/C set to around 45 degrees (who does that!?), so the kids were freezing…
