A month ago, I didn’t think I’d be saying this, but I’m glad the holidays are over!  I’m ready to get back to a normal routine, cook less, be on the go less, and *eh hem* clean less.  Thankfully, though, this holiday season, I was prepared with a Seventh Generation Eco-Friendly Cleaning Kit with  cleaners that my entire family can use.

Specialty Wood Surface Cleaner Safely clean your dining room table with the fresh scent of natural lemon chamomile.

We do not have too many wooden furniture surfaces in our new home, but our kitchen cabinets are made of wood.  When we first moved here, they were dull and dingy, and my mom used some kind of oil soap on them.  Before Christmas, we were looking at the cabinets, and we wanted to make sure they looked new for our guests.  Not only do they look great, but the wood surface cleaner smells fantastic!  I’m very impressed with how wonderful my cabinets look with their new face lift!

seventh generation natural cleaning suppliesHand Care Dish LiquidA big meal is followed up by a big pile of dishes. This will do the job effectively and keep your hands feeling soft.

I love this stuff!  We have a built in liquid hand pump in our sink, and all I have to do is refill the bottle each time we run out.  Right before Christmas, I had to refill it, and I am in love the the dish liquid.  It has a faint scent of lavender (which is a big hit around here!), and I love the way my hands feel after I’ve washed dishes.  Until now, I’ve had a really hard time with getting used to the water here.  It has always left my hands way too dry, and they start peeling.  Now, I have soft hands, and they no longer crack and peel!  Thank you, Seventh Gen!

Automatic Dishwasher PacsAn easy-to-use, tough scrubber that’s free of chemicals.

I’ve always used gel Dishwasher soap whether it’s in a pod or straight out of the container, because I made the mistake, once, of using homemade detergent and it left a film on my dishes.  Since then, I’ve not found a powder dishwasher detergent that gets the job done.  In hesitation, I had my daughter use the Seventh Generation dishwasher packs, and I’ve been happily amazed that there has not been any residue or grit left over on my dishes.  The dishes, even glass, are clean and clear!
Lavender Purifying Hand WashLather on the refreshing and relaxing scent of real lavender.

We put the purifying hand wash in the guest bathroom over the holidays, and I love how soft our hand feel and clean they smell after using this soap.  We have three boys, and two of them are old enough to get into everything.  They’re always dirty and in need of a good hand washing.  They like the easy to use pump dispenser, and it’s so cute watching them come out of the bathroom with their hands to their noses because the lavender scent is so enticing!

Monodose Laundry Detergent PacksTable cloths, napkins, hand towels and dirty clothes are no match for the stain fighting power of natural ingredients in our single-use pouches.

It’s no secret that we use cloth diapers, and it’s great to find detergents with natural ingredients so that we don’t have to worry about chemicals building up in our baby’s diapers.  I’ve been using the laundry detergent packs for the past several days (we have multiple loads of laundry a day!), and I really like how clean they make our laundry.  Cloth diaper laundry is a little more tough than your average t-shirt and jeans, but the Seventh Generation detergent packs get the job done!
