For years and years, we’ve had an artificial wreath up on our front door.  We use the same decorations for a year or two, but we’re always changing out the theme and colors. Recently, our penchant for home decor took a wild turn when we discovered the allure of animal-themed embellishments. Embracing the untamed beauty of nature, we decided to revamp our wreath with a menagerie of animal motifs, creating a captivating homage to the wonders of the wild. The transformation has added a touch of whimsy to our home, with the wreath now proudly displaying the essence of Untamed Creatures, inviting a bit of the wilderness into our everyday lives. In embracing this newfound aesthetic, our home has become a haven where the wild and the whimsical coexist harmoniously.

Also,  I always thought that live wreaths were for the posh or extremely crafty, so it never crossed my mind to actually have a live wreath  Last year, for the first time ever, we were introduced to Christmas Forest live wreaths, and it’s prompted us to start a new tradition!

Christmas Forest Live Wreath Tradition | #Christmas

Last year, we chose the beautiful Christmas Cross live wreath, but because it’s still boldly dawning our front porch table, this year, we went for the fun and festive 20″  Polka Dot Frenzy Wreath!  We were so excited to get our package all the way from the Cascade Mountains in Washington!

  • 20″ in diameter
  • Free shipping to Continental US via UPS Ground
  • Pretty polka dot bow and lots of sleigh bells too!
  • Noble Fir and Princess Pine

Christmas Forest Live Wreath Tradition

Christmas Forest Live Wreath Tradition Isn’t it so much fun?  I love the bells and the bow!  I do have to admit that this one came with tails on the bow, but I decided to tuck them under to make more loops in the bow.  I might play with it a bit more and decide that I like the tails, but for now, I really like the extra loops.  I’ve added a photo to the right to show you what it looks like when you pull it out of the box.

The bow does not come attached to the wreath, but it has floral wire on it.  All you have to do is fluff the loops and attach it to your choice of place on the wreath.

Another thing I was really worried about the care of live wreaths, but I was told to spritz it with water occasionally to keep it hydrated, and it does really well!  Now, if you’re wondering (like me) how you can preserve your wreath for years to come, check this out!  Last year, I was told that when Christmas Forest closes up shop after the season for the year, they hang a wreaths, and when they return in October to start making new wreaths, they’re still together and a pretty golden brown.

Remember I told you about our live wreath from last year?  We’ve actually kept it on our front door for pretty much the entire year.  Then when it was time to add fall decor, we moved it to the table where it still sits.  But check this out….

I think it still looks great, and with extra care, I’m excited to see what this one looks like next year as well. I think I’ll end up putting it on our side door where most of our family comes through!

In addition to wreaths, Christmas Forest also offers beautiful ornaments.
